I'm like you and would rather go more natural than just medicate. The only draw back to the tablets is that they seem to work for 45 minutes or so until you need to give them more. Sometimes it was clearly really hurting just so much and I did use infant tylenol... it worked well, too. I am with you...I refuse to give Aydan Orajel. I have heard that the tablets work pretty well. My friends that have little ones all used those...but we haven't yet. Aydan really enjoys chewing on anything...and we have given him some infant tylenol and that did work for a little bit.
